Parking

We have parking for each room that is limited to one vehicle. Spaces are in both the front and behind the building. We are situated on a hill, which makes our views stunning, but also given the road conditions that accompany the climate at this elevation, please ensure your vehicle can safely traverse not only the roads but an inclined driveway into our property. This is mostly relevant if you’re visiting during snowy conditions.

Parking enhancements are on the management's future improvement plans.

Dogs who like to bark will disturb other guests and as a result, will not be allowed. We require you to clean up after your pet. Guests will be charged a fee of $250+ if damage is caused due to wearing ski boots inside their room or anywhere in the building. We don’t want to charge you, we don’t want our floors damaged, so please take your ski boots off first before entering.

Be a courteous guest

Please be kind. We take pride in our property. From the room you rent, to the common areas, please be respectful and note that any excessive cleaning will incur a $250+ fee. This is easily avoided if you make responsible decisions during your stay.

Absolutely no smoking of any kind on the property. No animals outside of dog-friendly rooms including common areas in the hotel. No ski boots beyond the entry of the hotel. No parties allowed.

Climate

The Chateau is like most other properties in the mountains and we do not have air conditioning. The nights cool down and we suggest opening a window at least for a little while before bed to cool down the rooms. You’ll also have a fan which will help with air movement.

Our heating system uses baseboard heaters. These heaters can cause a fire. Please keep all items away from baseboard heating units in your room and throughout the building.

The outside weather can change quickly, so be prepared and monitor conditions. Jackets are helpful even during the summer.
