Welcome to the Winter Park Chateau.
A luxury, boutique hotel in Winter Park, Colorado.

We also have a virtual concierge that will send you multiple automated texts - you can also communicate with us directly via our hotels real-time messaging system. 

The Winter Park Chateau operates as automated as possible to anticipate your needs. We use multiple products that enable real-time communication.

Cancellation Policies (Standard Stay):

Any and all cancellation situations (that are not the responsibility of our hotel) are treated as any other (including, but not limited to, health issues, weather, work or family problems, forest fires, strikes, acts of God, etc.). Please bear these possibilities in mind prior to purchasing your reservation, but also understand that last-minute cancellations often prevent other customers from booking rooms. 

  • Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund.
  • Reservations canceled between 30 days - 72 hours will be refunded the remaining 50% of the total booking.
  • Cancellations within 72 hour notice will be charged in full and no refunds will be given past this cut off date.
  • Guests who wish to check-out prior to their original check out date will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

Third-Party Bookings: If you booked your accommodations on a third-party site i.e. Expedia, Hotels.com, Travelocity, etc. to cancel or modify a reservation, the guest must contact Expedia Group. The Winter Park Chateau can’t modify or cancel a reservation on behalf of the guest. Please visit the website where you made the reservation to process the necessary changes. Alternatively, you can contact Expedia Group’s Customer Support department by phone or e-mail. Contact details are in the confirmation message the guest received. 

Pet Policy

For an additional fee, all rooms with private access from the back of the building are dog-friendly. This will be noted in the room description, but room names are also provided below. Advance notice of dogs on reservation is required. Only well-tempered and mannered dogs are welcome. Must be potty trained and house broken. Dogs who like to bark will disturb other guests and as a result, will not be allowed. We require you to clean up after your pet. Wildlife is abundant in this area, not to mention the train, so please keep your pet safe by using a leash. 

The Winter Park Chateau has 5 dog-friendly rooms: 

All of these rooms have exterior access, so this makes it easy for furry friends when they need some “outside” time. When checking in with a pet please be sure to add the “Pet Add-on” at time of reservation. Dogs are not allowed to access the main hotel including common areas or main entrance and grand stairway. Please use your dedicated room entrance/exit in the back of the hotel. 

We can only permit one dog per room. A $250 deposit will be required. Please note due to extra routine cleaning $100 will be nonrefundable. We want to accommodate dogs, but will charge excessive cleaning fees if damage is caused starting from $500+. We don’t want to charge you, so please be a responsible pet parent!

If an unapproved pet is brought into a room that is not one of our dog friendly rooms (or brought into a dog friendly room without the pet stay deposit). We have the right to cancel the reservation with no refund. There will be an automatic $500.00 fine and up to $2500.00+ in cleaning fees. If you are going to bring a pet, please let us know and only stay in rooms that are designated as pet friendly. 

Confirmation: Reservations are confirmed with a valid Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, which we hold in lieu of a security deposit.  A payment of 100% of the total is due at time of booking. 

Cancellation Policy: Any and all cancellation situations (that are not the responsibility of our hotel) are treated as any other (including, but not limited to, health issues, weather, work or family problems, forest fires, strikes, acts of God, etc.). Please bear these possibilities in mind prior to purchasing your reservation. Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. Reservations canceled between 30 days - 48 hours will not be charged the remaining balance due. However, the 100% deposit will be held.  Cancellations within 48 hour notice will be charged in full and no refunds will be given past this cut off date. Our hotel is not responsible for inclement weather. Weather cancellations are treated as any other. Please travel safely. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions or health issues.

Virtual Credit Card/Security Deposit Agreement:  Renter acknowledges, understands and agrees to the following:

I understand The Winter Park Chateau requires a valid credit card on file as a"virtual" security deposit (Visa, MC, Amex or Discover). I authorize The Winter Park Chateau to apply extra charges against this card up to $2500.00+ for damage, loss or failure to abide by rental policies.  Charges will be assessed if excessive cleaning or repair is required upon Guest departure or if Guest does not abide by Winter Park Chateau policies.  Evidence of indoor smoking of any kind, use of firearms, fireworks, unapproved over-occupancy or unapproved pets will result in a charge of up to $2500+.

I  agree to check in or after 3:33PM and depart by 11:11AM on the check-out date stated herein.  I understand that any guest who does not depart as agreed may be charged for an additional night, unless advance arrangements have been made with management.

I understand that The Winter Park Chateau is not responsible for any of my or my group’s valuables or personal items left in Property.  I further understand and agree that I am personally liable for missing contents from the Property and charges and damages incurred during this stay.

I hereby waive and release The Winter Park Chateau (WINTER PARK CHATEAU GROUP LLC) from any claim by or injury to me, my guests and my personal property, or arising from or out of my being on the Property, except any such claim or injury resulting from their gross negligence.

I understand that the use and enjoyment of the room, facilities and any other features of the property are at my own risk.

I understand that smoking of any kind on or around The Winter Park Chateau properties is not permitted.

I understand that parties of any kind are not permitted, unless hosted or pre-approved by management.  

I understand that shooting firearms on or around The Winter Park Chateau are not permitted.

I understand that I am bound to the terms and policies of this agreement upon acceptance of this agreement by affirmative email reply or signature, and I agree to pay the above charges and any damage or excess cleaning charges incurred according to this agreement.
