Winter Park Resort Closes this weekend

Looks like the summer/fall season is coming to a close. This is the last weekend that the Winter Park Resort will be opened until Winter. The resort closes annually to prepare for the Winter ski season and will not reopen until November 15th. But, in the mean time there are lots of things going on and totally worth the time and effort to visit Winter Park Chateau. As the Aspens are starting to change colors, the mountains are beautiful! The tundra is turning green and the drive is lovely.
Hunting season just opened up with lots of places in the area to view wild life. Rocky Mountain National Park is also open allowing a beautiful drive throughout the forest. Fly fishing is a favorite activity still available as well as cycling on the hundreds of miles of mountain bike trails.
